INTRODUCING a crash course that shows kids firsthand what it's really like to be a performing musician, without years of expensive study. In ONE AFTERNOON, kids with little or no music background will actually experience playing a musical instrument, learn songs, be in a band and put on a show! Kids have a fully interactive day of generating music themselves and find out now if music is for them, and parents possibly avoid years of wasted investment.
Music or Lose It! is a select group of real musicians who work in the music industry playing, singing, writing, recording, and touring. They show the kids what real musicians really do: learning the instrument, practicing, rehearsing with the band and performing in front of an audience. Kids not only experience the music, they also learn teamwork, listening skills, synergy, and a whole lot more.

Music or Lose It! helps kids find the instrument that's right for them. Or, show them that being a musician is just not for them right now. It can point them down the right path or keep them off the wrong one.
Music or Lose It! has many musical configurations: Most popular with the kids is Rock Star for a Day, which has drums/percussion, bass, electric guitars, keyboard, lead and backing vocals. Other GENRES include Country Star (add fiddle and pedal steel guitar), Pop Star, Pop Group, and Hip Hop Hooray! (Rap/Hip Hop/R&B), where kids actually program a music track with state-of-the-art music software, and Instant Orchestra. Many other instruments are available upon request. Our favorite is when kids pick ANY instrument and their own choices create the music genre.
